Women Empowerment Cell organized an International Women’s Day Celebration

The Women Empowerment Cell of CARE College of Arts & Science organized an International Women’s Day celebration on March 8, 2025, at the CARE Campus. In Session 1, held at 10:00 AM, the Chief Guest, Mrs. Selvarani Ramachandran, Honorable Member of the Vigilance Committee & Rural Development, Director of James Academic Institute (JAI), Trichy, and Deputy Director of PEARL Trust, Trichy, delivered an inspiring speech. She emphasized the role of women in leadership, the importance of self-empowerment, and the need for continuous learning and skill development.

Session 2, conducted at 12:00 PM, featured Mrs. Suhruta Kulkarni, an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and Founder of Gocrackit, a career platform for MBA students and professionals in Bangalore. She shared valuable insights on career growth, skill enhancement, and breaking barriers in the corporate world. The event was presided over by Dr. D. Sugumar, Principal, CARE College of Arts & Science, who highlighted the significance of empowering women in all spheres of life.
