About the Speaker:
Graduated from School of Architecture & Planning, University of Madras in 1978 with Unviersity Award for Architectural Design & Thesis. Now aged 65. Having 40 years of private practice as Architect & Interior Architect. In 2013, He was awarded by IIA TN Chapter, “Honorable Architect 2013, TN Chapter”. In 2014, he was profiled in A+D magazine and one of my projects was published. In 2015, he was cited in IGBC convention, Chennai, for a Green Building he did at Thiruppur under semi Industrial Building Category. My office is a “Small Office Home Office” setup (SOHO). Clients Past & Present include : Ramco Group, Taj Group (The Gateway Hotel, Madurai), AVT Premium Tea Group, Jayaraj Group of Companies, Tata Coffee, Jayavilas Group, JC Residency Group of Hotels, Vikaasa World School Group, etc. Projects done include: High profile Villas & Bungalows, Hotels, Hospitals, Educational Institutions, Automobile Showrooms, Offices, Semi Industrial buildings, etc etc.
Since the last 4-1/2 years, Visiting Professor, Design Chair for 2 days a week at Dept of Architecture, Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai, but voluntarily devoting 50% of my time to Students.
Since the last 6 years, voluntarily helping & training younger architects to grow up as senior architects, to such of those who seek his guidance.
