ANNUAL   DAY( 22^nd March 2012) Civil   Engineering students actively participated in several events conducted by CARE Group of Institutions. and presided by Shri.N.K.Pothiraj, Managing Director,   Cethar Group of Companies, Tiruchirappalli. Students of civil engineering  excelled in several events

ENTREPRENEURSHIP AWARENESS CAMP (21^st March 2012) The Centre for Entrepreneurship Development organised an awareness camp for the students of Civil Engineering, which was sponsored by The Department of Science and Technology. Mr.Prithivi Raj, Centre Head, CED and President of  Small Scale Industries Association, Pudukottai gave a lecture and Mr.S.Karuppiah, Managing Director of Green India Agri-Tech Consultancy Services Centre conducted the camp.

SPORTS  DAY (10^th March 2012 ) Civil   Engineering students participated in several sports events conducted by CARE Group of Institutions. Civil engineering students stood ahead in the   competitions.

GUEST LECTURE (27^th February 2012) Mr.A.P Murugan, Regional Head, Ultra Tech – Tiruchirappalli delivered a guest lecture on “Basics of Concrete Technology”. The session helped the students to understand the practices in the Civil Engineering   industry. The field aspect of Concrete Making was highlighted.

KEYNOTE   2012 (8^th and 9^th February 2012) A National level technical symposium  was held at CARE Group of Institutions. Civil Engineering students  participated in events which helped them to compare their technical  competence with students and professionals from other institutions.

CESA   LOGO (26^th September 2011) Dr. S. T. Ramesh, Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, NIT Tiruchirappalli released exclusive CESA Logo and delivered a guest lecture on “Solid Waste Management”, which provoked the students of Civil Engineering to brainstorm new and innovative technical ideas in the field of Environmental Science and Engineering.

TEACHERS   DAY (5^th September 2011) Teachers Day was celebrated by the Students of Civil Engineering as they celebrated their mentors and honoured them as a token of love and affection.

WORLD   WATER DAY (22^nd of March 2011) On   World Water Day, CESA organised several events such as painting, photography and essay writing for the students with a theme “SAVE WATER”.

KEYNOTE   2011 (11^th and 12^th March 2011) KEYNOTE is a National level technical symposium held every year at CARE Group of Institutions. Students of Civil Engineering participated in several events which helped them to test their technical competence with students of the institutions.

CESA   INAUGURATION (22^th January 2011) Civil Engineering Students Association was installed with a team of office bearers. The association was initiated to stimulate departmental student activity and to develop the leadership qualities and management skills of the students.

INAUGURAL   DAY (1^st September 2010) Fresher’s Day celebration for the new entrants of the academic year 2010-2011 was celebrated at CARE Group of Institutions. Dr.Devadas Monohar, VC,   AUT-T and Shri.M.Sundarajan, Former Chairman, Indian Bank, Trichy were the  special invitees for the occasion.

ANNUAL   DAY(9^th April 2010) Annual   day was celebrated at CARE Group of Institutions, Shri.J.Balamurugan, Director, Spit Fire Automotive performance Pvt. Ltd, Coimbatore and Immediate   Past Chairman, CII Coimbatore presided the function in which Civil Engineering students won many prizes.
