A trip to chithannavasal and Thirumaiyyam fort was organized for the students of the second semester to probe the idea of experience as a trigger to understand spatiality in Architecture. The diverse quality and varying scales of the spaces evoked a plethora of responses amongst the students. The responses are being compiled into a documentary film and representational mind maps to capture the experiences. It is to be noted that the students were unaware if the destinations and hence the responses were spontaneous and raw devoid of any presumptions.
The trip was part of the architectural design studio mentored by studio Play Architecture, Bangalore.
