Clean India 2.0 was organized by NSS. All the members of this scheme segregated the wastes that were thrown up by people in public places into Biodegradable and Non-Biodegradable wastes. Separate bags and hand gloves were provided to them. Necessary precautions were taken to get rid of infections.
Around 24 NSS volunteers participated and about 25 Kg Plastic wastes were collected and handed over to the thayanur panchayat president on 28-10-2022.
It was all the interest and determination from each member of NSS that made this event successful and also motivated people to involve themselves in these sorts of social activities.
