A Five Days online FDP on “Exploring Research using SEM & XRD"

A Five Days online FDP Programme was jointly organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering , CARE College of Engineering and Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, IITE , Indus university, Ahamadabad, Gujarat from 19-12-2022 to 23-12-2022 through online mode. This FDP was coordinated by Dr.D.R.Rajkumar, Head & Associate Professor/Mechanical and Resource Person was Dr. K.Santhy, Head & Associate Professor/Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, IITE, Indus university. About 29 Participants from various engineering colleges inside and outside India and 3 faculties from Department of Mechanical Engineering as well. Notably from Singapore,South Africa and so on. Research Scholars, Faculties and Industry persons were Participated actively in all five days and gained knowledge in SEM and XRD. It consists of research needs on SEM & XRD, Testing, Sample preparation, Result analysis & Interpretation and presenting results in Journal and Conferences. Everyday Assignment of every session was collected.

The programme began with the welcome address by Head & Associate Professor/Mechanical, CARE College of Engineering. All five days, the topics were discussed and the lecturer was given by Dr. K. Santhy Head & Associate Professor/Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, IITE, Indus University. Participants were given time to interact with resource persons on the topic every day. All the doubts were cleared after each session was over. On the fifth day, participants’ Feedback was collected through the google form using link (https://forms.gle/krZdT2bYwNMFGF3g8).

Vote of thanks was delivered by Mr.P.Dinesh Kumar AP/Mechanical,CARE College of Engineering. E-Certificate was Sent to all five days attended participants through their registered Mail id.
