CARE NDLI Club joined hands with department of Science and Humanities and organized “An Awareness Program of National Digital Library of India” at 11am on 14th September 2023 at CARE College of Engineering seminar hall. Around 182 participants attended the session. Mr. G. Venkatesan, HoD of Science & Humanities, CARE College of Engineering, Trichy honored the occasion and delivered an enriching lecture.
The Resource Person Dr. L. Jamuna Rani, Librarian, CARE College of Engineering, Trichy, highlighted the necessity of NDLI which can be utilized as a single-source knowledge repository rather than surfing through various browsers. She also enlightened the students on the infinite resources available in the NDLI portal. Hands-on guidance was given to them on the method of filtering the content, for a personalized and self-paced learning at varying proficiency levels. Further, she said that NDLI-Club is a platform for conducting learning-oriented events, both online and off-line for its members.
After creating awareness, participants took a hands on -training session to measure their progress and identify areas of continued improvement. She explained the NDLI club member registration. And students were trained to join the NDLI club membership.
