The inauguration of the Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA) was held on 22nd October 2024 at 3:00 PM. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, faculty members, and students of the Mechanical Engineering Department. Dr. M. Vivekanandan, Founder & CEO of TryCAE Industrial Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Trichy, honored the occasion as the Chief Guest. His presence added immense value to the program. Dr. D.R. Rajkumar, Professor and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, delivered the presidential address. He emphasized the importance of MESA in fostering technical and professional development among students.
The Chief Guest, Dr. M. Vivekanandan, introduced the newly elected office bearers of MESA. He inspired them to lead with dedication and enthusiasm. He also created awareness about Virtual Reality (VR) and its current application in the Design, Simulation and Manufacturing sectors. Students and faculty members enjoyed the entire session and learned new technology as well. Dr. K. Kannan, Professor and Dean of Academics, CARE College of Engineering, delivered a felicitation address. He highlighted the pivotal role of student associations in bridging academic learning with industrial applications. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mr. B. Santhosh, MESA Secretary, who expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, faculty members, and all attendees for making the event a grand success. The MESA Inauguration set the tone for an engaging year ahead, promising to provide a platform for students to enhance their technical expertise and leadership skills.
