The inauguration of the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) CARE Chapter was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, CARE College of Engineering and Coordinated by Mr.V.Venkatesan AP/Mech. The event was well-attended, with around 50 students participating in the session.
The function commenced with Tamil Thai Vazhthu and followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Mr. S. Gopinath, a second-year Mechanical Engineering student. Then, Dr. D.R. Rajkumar, Prof/Mech and HoD, honoured the Chief Guest with Memento. Following the Lighting Kuthuvizhakku, Mr. M. Hariharan, a third-year Mechanical Engineering student, introduced the esteemed guest, Mr. Kannan Ragavan, TQM Consultant & Visiting Faculty, Go Beyond – Trichy. The presidential address was delivered by Dr. K. Kannan, Prof/Mech and Dean of Academics. Then the Inaugural speech by Mr. Kannan Ragavan. He elaborated on the role and significance of the Quality Circle.His session was highly interactive and informative, inspiring students to actively participate in quality improvement activities.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. S. Edwin Roshan, a third-year Mechanical Engineering student. He expressed gratitude to the guest speaker, faculty members, and students and the inauguration function came to end with National Anthem.
