Procedural design is a part of the Summer at C.A.R.E Workshops 2019, conducted by C.A.R.E Design Cell, by Balaji Rajasekaran, between 31st May to 5th June 2019. Balaji is an architect, researcher, maker, and an academician.
Design has a dual meaning; it simultaneously means the act of designing object and the designed object as an end result. This distinction is central in generative design systems. This workshop tried to explore new vocabularies in architectural expressions and in investing systemic design applications to enable non-standard artefacts. To envision a process that ensures continuity between the stage of the design and the materialization of the final output.
