As part of their course on building services, a team of second year students of architecture are on a trip to Musiri a small town near Trichy. The Fourth Semester Studio aims at Rethinking learns spaces. Students explore freely, intuitively through models and then collaborate with peers to evolve iterations. The model making studio explored claymodels to understand the correlation between fenestration,light and spatial experience. Existing light conditions were simulated through abstract clay models.
The third panel review with eminent panellists Dr.Harimohan pillai,professor Ramalingam,Ar.Parvathy Kartha and Ar,Siddique was held on 3rd and 4th of February.
As a part of the Architectural Drawing Course, the fundamental abstracts of Architectural representation namely plan, section, elevation were introduced through documentation and measured drawings of vennataragarai, heritage ghat structure on the banks of the Cauvery river.
A team of second year students visited Naveen’s garden near Thuraiyur for an amazing experience of interacting with many animals living together.
