The department of Computer Science and Engineering organized Fifth National level Technical Symposium on 11th and 12th Feb 2019. The event started with the formal inaugural function on 11th Feb 2019 at 9.30 a.m in the Conference Hall. Shri.Prative Chend B, CEO of CARE Group of Institutions, Mr.Syed Nazimudeen, Assistant General Manager of Learning Center, Trichy,Dr.G.Ramadoss, HOD of Mechanical Engineering, Mr.Vadivel, HOD In-Charge of CSE, Mr.Badri of Final Year CSE, President were present on the dais.
The function started with Invocation song and lighting the Lamp, followed by the welcome speech given by Ms.Sarah Sumran of Third Year CSE, Vice President. The presidential address given by CEO of CARE Group of Institutions.The chief guest gave a speech on “The future of Artificial Intelligence”,”The future jobs in CSE”. The technical and non technical events started from 10.30 a.m.
70 students from various colleges participated in both technical and non technical events like Paper presentation, Blind coding, Website design, Quiz, JAM, Peas Puzzle, Pictionary, Meme Creation etc. The valedictory function started at 4.00 p.m on 12th Feb 2019 with Mrs.G.Usha Devi,HOD of Computer Science and Engineering, CARE Group of Institutions. The prize distribution started from 4.10 p.m. Finally, the function ended with vote of thanks given by Mr.Badri of final year CSE, President. This time, the overall rolling trophy won by MIET College of Engineering, Trichy.
