The inauguration of Mechanical Engineering student Association (MESA) for the Academic Year 2022-2023 was held on 22-09-2022, at 03.00 p.m. ,Fulcrum, CARE College of Engineering, Trichy.
The Inauguration was begun with welcome address by Mr. Shahid Afridi, IV year Mechanical Engineering student. The introductory speech was given by Dr. S.Shanthi, Principal. It was followed by traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries which marked it as propitious start to the function and thereby officially inaugurating MESA. Chief Guest Dr.S. Dharmalingam,Former General Manager, BHEL, Trichy., highlighted the importance of Mechanical Engineers and the Current Technology like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Electric Vehicles and Additive Manufacturing also he motivated the students to participate various technical and non technical events outside of the college. He asked all the students to start preparing for GATE and all Govt. Exams.
Mr. Mohamed Reyad, IV year Mechanical Engineering Student presented the last year activities of MESA. Then the newly elected MESA office bearers were introduced by Dr. S. Dharmalingam.his occasion. The president Mr. Shahid Afrid presented the action plan for AY 2022-23 such as National Level Symposium, Technical Quiz, Workshops and other technical activities. Finally Mr.Sheik Dawood, Joint Treasurer, IInd Year Mechanical Engineering student of MESA proposed a vote of thanks. The ceremony concluded with the national anthem.
