Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Women empowerment cell jointly organized an online guest lecture on the occasion of Women’s Entrepreneurship Day on 19th November 2022 . Mrs.Shyamala Rajkumar, Founder of “Masala Twist”, Trichy was the chief guest. The programme was also projected at Fulcrum. Dr.J.Jeyarani, HoD/ECE, Mrs.T.Amutha, HoD/AI&DS, faculty members and 63 students attended the programme at fulcrum. 31 students attended it online. The session started by 11.15 am with a welcome address.
The Chief Guest, Mrs. Shyamala Rajkumar shared her entrepreneurial journey with the students. She said that only with self motivation she was able to reach the level of success. A major tragedy in her life was her turning point. She further said that those who want to step into business, should register themselves with associations which provide a platform for sharing and discussing their challenges. They can get help from a personal mentor, access to large-scale networking events, healthcare options, resources to help them build their leadership and more. She concluded her session hoping that her lecture has inspired at least a few that day.
R.Kayal Vizhi, II ECE delivered the vote of thanks and the session came to a close by 12.30 pm.A total of 94 students attended the session.
