CARE NDLI Club in collaboration with the CARE NSS team organized an awareness program entitled “OPEN E-RESOURCES FOR PRIMARY & MIDDLE SCHOOL CHILDREN” on 20.4.2023 from 10.00 am to 11.00 am in the Government primary and middle school, Thayanur, Trichy District.
Dr. L. Jamuna Rani, Librarian, from CARE College of Engineering, Trichy, enlightened the students on the various ways of surfing the browser through online resources. She explained, the importance of using specific keywords while searching or exploring stories, rhymes, lessons, and hands-on training program, in our regional language (Tamil) with audio, video or animation. She cleared the doubts of the young minds and gave them an idea regarding NDLI (National Digital Library of India), TNDL (Tamil Nadu Digital Library of India), ICDL (International Children’s Digital Library), Tamil Digital Library, and so on.
