The Central Library organized a user awareness program on “J-Gate Database” from 11 am to 12.30 pm on 1st Apr 2024 at the Fulcrum. The chief guest Mr. Ratish Iyer., Training and Business Development Manager at Informatics Publishing Ltd., Bangalore, enlightened on various ways of surfing the browser through J-gate database online resource. J-Gate is an electronic gateway to global e-journal literature, providing seamless access to millions of journal articles across various disciplines. The Resource person emphasized on the following major points.
- To familiarize users with the features and functionalities of the J-Gate Database.
- To demonstrate effective search strategies and techniques to retrieve relevant literature.
- To promote the utilization of J-Gate as a primary resource for academic and research purposes.
He addressed all queries and concerns regarding access, navigation and usage of the database.
