CARE Central Library organized “E-resources hands-on training program” on 18/09/2024 & 19/09/2024 from 9.00am to 11 am and 11.00 am to 1.00 pm at AI&DS Lab 1, Lab 2 and E-library. Around 160 + 172 Students participated in this event. Dr. L. Jamuna Rani, Librarian, CARE College of Engineering, acted as the resource person for the event and shared valuable insights to the students by introducing e-resources ( delnet, NDLI, NPTEL, J-gate., etc.). The training began with an orientation session with the searching Option OPAC (online public access catalogue)
The main objectives of the Library E-Resources Hands-On Training Program were as follows:
- To introduce library patrons to the electronic resources available in the library.
- To enhance digital literacy skills among students.
- To promote the use of e-resources for research and independent learning.
- To improve the overall user experience with the library’s electronic offerings.
