Dr.J.Jeyarani/ Dean/ IQAC and Mrs.B.Sudhapriya/ HoD / Civil addressed the first year students on “Dress Code & Discipline” on 27/09/24. They said that the rules and regulations of the college are framed to ensure a professional and peaceful campus atmosphere. She informed them that they should be aware of Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Cell that is functioning in the college campus. This gender-inclusive perspective ensures that all members of the educational community are safeguarded from sexual harassment. She further added that the UGC PoSH Regulation advocates a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual harassment, treating it as misconduct under service rules for employees and a disciplinary violation for students. Therefore, the college community is bound to abide by the college rules inside the campus and any deviation by anyone, will face severe action.
