The CARE NDLI CLUB, in collaboration with the Department of Science and Humanities, organized an event titled “Explore, Analyze, and Present” on November 29, 2024, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Engineering Seminar Hall, with around 113 students in attendance.
Dr. D.R. Rajkumar, Professor & Head of the Mechanical Department at CARE College of Engineering, Trichy, served as the guest speaker. She shared valuable insights on the significance of research, analysis, and presentation skills, captivating the audience with an inspiring story. She then engaged in an interactive discussion with the students, encouraging them to invest time in developing these skills. Dr. Rajkumar emphasized that the benefits of reading would remain invaluable throughout their lives. Students gathered data from the DELNET and NDLI websites, chose a variety of topics, analyzed the information, and created PowerPoint presentations for the competition. They then showcased their skills in front of the audience.
The event judge, R. Sasikala, Assistant Professor from the Department of CSE, assessed the student presentations based on criteria such as content knowledge, clarity of presentation, confidence, and body language. After the evaluations, the winners of the contest were announced.
