The 76th Republic Day of India was celebrated with great patriotism and enthusiasm at CARE on January 26th, 2025. The celebrations began with a prayer song then the unfurling of the national flag by Dr. S. Shanthi, Principal of CARE. The flag hoisting was accompanied by the melodious rendition of the flag song, instilling a sense of pride and unity among all present.
Following the flag unfurling, Dr. S. Shanthi delivered an inspiring special address, highlighting the importance of Republic Day and the responsibilities of citizens in building a progressive and harmonious nation. Dr. D. Sugumar, Principal of CARE Arts and Science, also addressed the gathering, encouraging students and staff to uphold the values enshrined in the Constitution and contribute meaningfully to society.The event saw enthusiastic participation from all faculty, staff, and students of CARE, who came together to celebrate this historic occasion. The NSS & YRC Programme Officer, Mr. R. Saravanan, compared the event seamlessly, adding a touch of elegance and discipline to the proceedings.
The ceremony concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with patriotism and respect for the nation. The 76th Republic Day celebration at CARE was a resounding success, reflecting the institution’s dedication to fostering national pride and unity.
