The Department of Mechanical Engineering, CARE College of Engineering, organized an Awareness Program on GATE Exam for third and second year students. Total of 47 students participated in this program. The event aimed to enlighten students about the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), its significance, and the career opportunities it offers. The session was conducted by Ms. Najrana Begum, Centre Head, GATEFORUM Trichy, who served as the keynote speaker.
The session commenced with a welcome address by Dr. D. R. Rajkumar, Professor & HOD, Department of Mechanical Engineering, CARE College of Engineering. He emphasized the importance of competitive exams like GATE in shaping students’ careers and encouraged them to utilize the opportunity effectively.
The keynote speaker and chief guest, Ms. Najrana Begum, Centre Head, GATEFORUM Trichy, delivered an insightful lecture on the GATE exam’s structure, syllabus, preparation strategies, and career prospects. She elaborated on the importance of time management, subject prioritization, and effective revision techniques to crack the exam successfully.
