On 25th February 2025, the CARE NDLI Club, in association with the Department of Science and Humanities, organized the “Think Big, Advertise Bigger” Ad creation contest from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Central Library. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 187 students. Dr. L. Jamuna Rani, Librarian at CARE College of Engineering, Trichy, inaugurated the event and shared her valuable insights with the students.
Dr. J. Jeyarani, Dean of IQAC at CARE College of Engineering, Trichy, graced the occasion as the chief guest. She shared insightful thoughts with the students on the importance of creativity in advertisement creation using newspaper clippings and encouraged them to make regular use of the library. Dr. Jeyarani also engaged with the students, motivating them to explore artificial intelligence skills and inspiring them to develop skills in their areas of interest. The students were enthusiastic and eager to respond to her questions. Dr. S. Raghavan (HAG), Retd. Professor from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, was the special guest. He emphasized the importance of libraries, encouraged the promotion of reading habits, and discussed their impact on achieving success in life.
