As a part of our academic curriculum, our First year Students had an opportunity to visit Amman TRY Company on 10-04-25,a well-known steel manufacturing unit located in Trichy. Three faculty members and two technical assistants accompanied the students .The purpose of this industrial visit is to gain practical exposure to the processes involved in steel rod manufacturing and to understand the various stages of production, from raw material selection to final product testing, students were taken to different units and they learnt about the process of selecting raw materials, melting process, formation of steel bars, cooling process, cutting to a particular length, quality test and packing.
The visit to Amman TRY Company provided an invaluable insights into the industrial processes involved in steel rod manufacturing. It helped to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application. It was really informative .Students reached the college premises by 4.45 pm
