On 11th April 2025, the CARE NDLI Club, in association with the Department of Science and Humanities, organized the Quiz on “The Knowledge Arena” from 3:00 Pm – 5:00 pm at the Central Library. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 116 students. Dr. L. Jamuna Rani, Librarian at CARE College of Engineering, Trichy, inaugurated the event and shared her valuable insights with the students. The main objective of this event is,
- To encourage students to read newspapers, journals, magazines, and reference books regularly.
- Build a culture of using the library for acquiring current and relevant information.
- To Improve awareness beyond textbooks and classroom learning.
- To build confidence through participation in academic competitions.
- To promote collaborative learning by encouraging students to work in teams.
- To motivate them to explore and make better use of library facilities.
- To encouraged students to see libraries as centers of knowledge, not just places for study.
