1. Plickers Activity

Overview: Plickers is a tech-assisted assessment tool that allows real-time student response collection without requiring individual devices.
Execution:
o Each participant was given a unique Plickers card.
o Multiple-choice questions were presented.
o Faculty held up cards to indicate their answers.
o The facilitator used the Plickers mobile app to scan and instantly display results.
Outcome:
o Instant feedback promoted healthy discussion and engagement.
o Participants appreciated its usefulness in resource-limited classroom settings.
2. Jigsaw Activity
Facilitator: Mrs. J. Jenila, AP/CSE
Overview: The Jigsaw method is a cooperative learning strategy designed to improve content
understanding through teamwork and peer teaching.
Execution:
o Faculty were divided into home groups and expert groups.
o Each expert group focused on a specific topic related to teaching strategies.
o Members rejoined their home groups and shared what they learned.
Outcome:
o Faculty experienced the benefits of shared learning and peer responsibility.
o It encouraged in-depth understanding and strengthened communication skills
The Knowledge Sharing Session successfully demonstrated the value of active and collaborative teaching strategies. It empowered faculty with tools and methods that foster student engagement and deeper learning.
