The Department of Science and Humanities (Chemistry), CARE College of Engineering, organized a guest lecture on 18 November 2025 at the Arts Seminar Hall. Dr. G. D. Gayathri, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, University College of Engineering BIT Campus, delivered the session on “Engineering Chemistry Contributes to Innovations in Various Industries.”
She explained how chemistry forms the backbone of industrial development, covering applications in materials, energy, water treatment, and manufacturing.Students gained clarity on how chemical principles integrate with day to day modern life Overall, the lecture expanded students’ awareness of industrial chemistry.The event achieved its goal of linking classroom learning with real-world applications.
