The Department of Mechanical Engineering signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sisco Energy Private Limited, Tiruchirappalli, on 21.01.2026. The MoU was signed with the General Technical Manager Mrs. Pavithra and received on behalf of the department by Mr. A. Antony Luki, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering. Sisco Energy Private Limited is a leading industrial engineering and manufacturing company based in Tiruchirappalli, involved in turnkey engineering projects, heavy fabrication, industrial noise control solutions, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and equipment catering to sectors such as power, oil & gas, aerospace, defense, and steel industries. This collaboration aims to strengthen industry–institute interaction and provide valuable opportunities for students, including industrial visits, internships, and exposure to real-time engineering practices. Through this MoU, students will gain practical knowledge, understand industrial processes, and enhance their technical skills aligned with industry requirements, while the company benefits from academic collaboration and student participation in innovative projects. This initiative is expected to promote experiential learning, improve employability, and build a strong partnership between the institution and Sisco Energy Private Limited.
