The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) successfully inaugurated the Electronics and Communication Students Association (ECSA) for the academic year 2026–2027 on 20th July 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Engineering Seminar Hall. The event marked the official commencement of the association’s academic, technical, and professional development activities for the current academic year.
The programme commenced with the Invocation, followed by the Welcome Address. The dignitaries were warmly welcomed, and the Chief Guest was honoured in recognition of his valuable presence. The event was felicitated the gathering Dr. Selvakumar Periyasamy, Dean (Training & Placement) and Head of the Department of ECE, graced the occasion and extended his support to the association.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Raveendhar Velmurugan, Engineering Manager, Bosch Global Software Technologies Pvt. Ltd., was introduced to the audience before delivering the inaugural address. During his inspiring session, he highlighted the importance of setting a clear career vision, continuously upgrading technical competencies, and developing strong professional skills to meet evolving industry expectations. He emphasized the significance of discipline, commitment, effective communication, teamwork, and lifelong learning as essential qualities for engineering graduates. His practical insights and industry experiences motivated students to prepare themselves for successful careers and encouraged them to actively participate in technical and professional development initiatives.
Following the Chief Guest’s address, the newly elected ECSA office bearers were introduced by Ms. R. Vanitha, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, and ECSA Association In-charge. She presented the office bearers to the gathering and highlighted their respective roles and responsibilities for the academic year. This was followed by the Office Bearers’ Oath, during which the office bearers pledged to uphold the values of the association and work diligently towards organizing technical, professional, and student development activities
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to the Chief Guest for his valuable guidance and motivational address. The Department also extended its appreciation to the CEO, Principal, Deans, Controller of Examinations, Heads of various Departments, faculty members, student coordinators, and students for their unwavering support and enthusiastic participation, which contributed to the grand success of the programme.
