Day 2 of the programme featured an insightful session on “Applied Mathematics in Engineering”, with Dr. P. Mahendiran, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, UCE, BIT Campus, Anna University, Trichy, as the Chief Guest. He introduced students to the fundamental concepts of Discrete Mathematics and explained their practical applications in solving logical and analytical problems, particularly in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).The programme was highly interactive, with active participation from the students. Overall, the session helped students understand the relevance of Discrete Mathematics in Engineering and its role in addressing logical and computational problems.
