CARE Business School organized an institutional visit to the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Tiruchirappalli on October 14, 2026, for its first-year and second-year MBA students. The visit offered first-hand exposure to the academic environment of one of India’s premier management institutions.
Students began with a guided tour of the campus, exploring its infrastructure and learning facilities.
Key Highlights
- Faculty interaction: IIM Tiruchirappalli faculty members explained the MBA admission and selection process, fee structure, academic schedule and class timings.
- Learning pedagogy: Students learned about the institute’s experiential, case-based approach, in which cases are shared in advance and discussed collaboratively in class to build analytical and decision-making skills.
- Doctoral studies: Research scholars guided students on pursuing a PhD, including eligibility criteria, the application process and the structure of the doctoral programme.
The visit helped students understand the academic rigour, teaching methods and research culture of a leading management institute. It also encouraged them to consider higher studies and research as future career options.
CARE Business School thanks the faculty members and research scholars of IIM Tiruchirappalli for their warm hospitality and valuable insights.
