Head of the Department – Computer Science and Engineering Branch.

Job Description:

• As the Head of Computer Science & Engineering, you will have responsibility for student outcomes, teaching and learning, as well as supporting and developing teachers.
• Be responsible and accountable for setting and advancing the academic strategy of the Department in line with Faculty and institutions strategic plans and direction.
• Work to raise standards of student progress and attainment within the curriculum area.
• Bring in new trending technology update to the curriculum and work towards student’s professional growth in par with the industry expectation.
• Create Industry connect through Guest lectures, Internships, Industry led Workshops and Consulting and research projects.
• Manage and deploy teaching/support staff, financial and physical resources within the department effectively to support the department development plan.
• Create department budget and manage income and expenditure in order to promote financial stability.

Qualification:

• Should have 60% in BE & ME Computer Science Engineering
• 10 + Years’ Professional experience
• At least 3 years in Senior Management roles
• Should be updated and technically strong with Current IT technologies and skills
• Passionate to reshaping education and mould next generation Engineers.

Preferred: (not mandatory)

• Ph.D. in the relevant field
• Experience in Teaching

• The above said position will be based at CARE College of Engineering, Trichy.
