24 HOURS NATIONAL LEVEL HACKATHON ’25 - CARE College of Engineering

Announcement of Preliminary Round Results—National Level 24-Hour Hackathon conducted on 07-03-2025.

We appreciate your enthusiastic participation in the preliminary round of the National Level 24-Hour Hackathon, conducted in virtual mode on 07-03-2025. Your innovative ideas and problem-solving skills were truly commendable.

We are pleased to announce the list of selected teams who have successfully qualified for the Grand Finale, scheduled to take place on 14-03-2025 & 15-03-2025 at CARE College of Engineering, is attached to this mail.

Additionally, e-certificates will be provided to all registered participants upon completion of the feedback form. Please ensure you submit your feedback to receive your certificate.

Selected teams will receive further details regarding the final round, including venue, guidelines, and other important instructions, via email shortly.

GUIDELINES for Preliminary Round:

This hackathon is open to all engineering students from colleges within India.
Interested students must register on the designated link by submitting their details on or before 04-Mar-2025.
The list of teams who have submitted the presentation will be officially communicated via email with their assigned panel desks on 06-Mar-2025.
E-certificates of participation will be issued to those who register.
Participants must arrange their own travel and accommodation. Accommodation will not be provided on campus. There will be no TA/DA for the participants
Retiring room, Lunch, Dinner and refreshments will be provided to participants during the 24 hours Hackathon Finale.
Code of Conduct: Participants should adhere to a code of conduct that promotes inclusivity, respect, and professionalism. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
Organizers reserve the right to make changes to the Hackathon rules, format, or prizes at any time. Any modifications will be communicated to the participants in a clear and timely manner.
Participants must adhere to all guidelines, deadlines, and instructions provided by the Hackathon Committee.

Team Composition & Registration:

Each team must consist of four members.
The registration fee per team is ₹300. The registration fee is nonrefundable.

Competition Format:

Preliminary Round (Ideation Phase)

The preliminary round will be conducted online via the link provided in the official email notification.
Teams must present their ideas using the provided PPT template.
Each presentation, including the Q&A session, will have a time limit of 5 to 10 minutes.
20 teams from the preliminary round will move on to the 24-hour Hackathon Finale.
A panel of judges will evaluate presentations based on the following criteria:
1. Innovation—Originality and uniqueness of the idea.
2. Feasibility—Practicality and implementation.
3. Impact & Benefits—Societal contributions and advantages.

24-hour Hackathon Finale

The 24-hour Hackathon Finale will be held offline at the CARE Campus, where teams will create their innovative solutions.
Selected candidates must carry an email confirmation (hard copy) with their college identification cards for verification.
Carrying a valid photo ID proof is mandatory for participation.
Wi-Fi Facility will be provided by the Organizers.
Participants shall bear any hardware or software requirements related to their project.
Finalist teams will do and present their solutions to the judging panel.
The three best-performing teams will be selected and awarded prizes along with certificates of excellence. The prizes are as follows:
- 1st Place – ₹25,000
- 2nd Place – ₹15,000
- 3rd Place—₹10,000
