NSS Seven-Day Special Camp at Thayanur Gram Panchayat Concludes Successfully

        Thayanur, February 28, 2025 – The seven-day National Service Scheme (NSS) Special Camp at Thayanur Gram Panchayat, held from February 21 to February 27, 2025, concluded on a high note, leaving a significant impact on the community. The camp was presided over by Shri B. Prative Chend, CEO, CARE Group of Institutions, and felicitated by Dr. S. Shanthi, Principal, CARE College of Engineering. The event was coordinated by Mr. R. Saravanan, NSS Programme Officer, and supported by Thayanur’s Block Development Officer (BDO), Panchayat Secretary, former presidents, and the local community.

A Week of Service and Awareness

The NSS volunteers organized various programmes that benefited over 2,000 residents of Thayanur. The camp emphasized social welfare and community development through a series of structured initiatives:Environmental Protection,Health and Hygiene,Women’s Rights Awareness,Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Initiative,Medical Camps,Financial Literacy, Pre-School Education,Swachh Bharat Mission,Digital and Voter Awareness,Anti-Drug Awareness.
