The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, CARE College of Engineering, organized a Alumni interaction cum Career Guidance Session titled “Pathway to Placements” on 23rd August 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Engineering Seminar Hall.
The session was conducted for the III Year CSE students with the objective of creating awareness about effective placement preparation strategies and enhancing their employability skills.
The resource person for the session was Mrs. G. Gayathri, an alumna of 2011 – 2015 Batch, Mechanical Engineering, who is currently working as a Senior Recruitment Manager at iGrow Virtual IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad.
During the session, she addressed key aspects of placement preparation including:
- Resume Preparation – Guidelines for creating a professional and structured resume.
- Interview Readiness – How to face interviews with confidence and clarity.
- Do’s and Don’ts – Professional etiquette, communication skills, and common mistakes to avoid during interviews.
- Placement Supporting Portal – Introduction to useful online platforms that assist in practice tests, resume building, and job search.
The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating and seeking clarifications. Mrs. Gayathri, being an alumna, also shared her personal experiences and motivated students to utilize available opportunities effectively.
