Seminar on “AI – Powered IoT systems for industrial automation”

                   The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, CARE College of Engineering, organized a seminar on “AI-Powered IoT Systems for Industrial Automation” at the Engineering Seminar Hall on 11.09.2025. The event aimed to provide students with practical insights into the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things, particularly their applications in industrial automation. The program began with a warm Welcome Address followed by the Introduction of the Chief Guest.

                 The Resource Person, Mr. Suresh S, M.E., Manager – Project & Training, VI Microsystems Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, then delivered an enlightening seminar on the role of AI in enhancing IoT systems for industrial automation. He explained how AI algorithms integrated with IoT devices can improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enable predictive maintenance in industries. He also emphasized various wireless technologies such as Zigbee, Wi-Fi, LoRaWAN, and IoT protocols, sharing real-time applications and future opportunities for students to explore. His presentation was highly informative and interactive, leaving the audience with a deeper understanding of the subject.

                 The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks proposed by Mr. Rubinesh, who expressed gratitude to the Management, Principal, HoD, faculty members, students, and especially the Resource Person for making the program successful.

                The seminar was a highly enriching experience, bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry practices, and motivating students to pursue innovations in AI and IoT
