The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at CARE College of Engineering, organized an Event “HackSprint” Hackathon Event through its Computer Science Students’ Association (CSSA), was successfully Completed.

Hackathon – Round 2 Finals on [15-09-2025] from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Fulcrum Hall. This is an intra-departmental hackathon was coordinated by President Karthick Raja N with the support of the association office bearers.
The event aimed to stimulate innovation, teamwork and problem-solving among CSE students. Participants analyzed real-time problems, proposed creative solutions and demonstrated working prototypes.
Evaluation Process
HackSprint’s judging process was structured in three rigorous stages:
- Stage 1 – Problem Understanding & Initial Idea (15 Marks)
- Jury Panel: Mrs. V. Gomathi, Mrs. R. Ranitha, Mr. N. Dharmaraj.
- Focus: Analysis of problem statements and framing of initial ideas,
- Each jury member awarded marks out of 15; the average determined the final score.

- Stage 2 – Design & Implementation (25 Marks)
- Jury Panel: Mrs. S. Nageshwari, Mrs. J. Jenifa, Mrs. S. Subasree.
- Focus: Quality of design, feasibility, and implementation,
- Each jury member awarded marks out of 25; the average determined the final score.

- Stage 3 – Prototype Presentation and Q&A Session (60 Marks)
- Jury Panel: Dr. D.R. Rajkumar Sir (HoD, Mechanical), Mrs. T. Amutha (HoD, AI & DS,).
- Focus: 4-minute prototype presentations, UI/UX designs, innovation and Q&A performance.
- Each jury member awarded marks out of 60; the average determined the final score.

Outcome
HackSprint 2025 served as an engaging platform for budding innovators of our department. It provided participants with valuable exposure to ideation, design, and presentation, setting a new benchmark for intra-departmental competitions.
