Guest Lecture on Compiler Design (CS3501) – Code Optimization

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, CARE College of Engineering (Autonomous Institution), in association with the Computer Science Engineering Students Association (CSEA) and IEEE Student Branch – CARE College of Engineering, is organizing a guest lecture for III Year CSE students on the course CS3501 – Compiler Design. The lecture will focus on the topic “Code Optimization”, aiming to enhance students’ understanding of optimization techniques used in modern compilers to improve program performance, reduce execution time, and efficiently utilize memory resources.

The session will be delivered by Dr. L. Josephine Usha, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (IST), Tiruchirappalli. The guest lecture is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, 15 October 2025 at 10:00 AM in Fulcrum. The program is intended to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical insights into compiler construction and real-world optimization strategies.
