International Women’s Day was celebrated at CARE College of Engineering from 3.00 Pm to 5.00 Pm at two different venues , Fulcrum & Engineering Seminar Hall, on 12th March 2026. Dr.S.Shanthi , Principal addressed the First year students and asked them to balance confidence and humility. As women they have to safeguard themselves against all odds in their lives.
Dr.J.Jeyarani, Dean / IQAC & HoD/ECE addressed the II & III year girl students and motivated them to be bold and develop their leadership qualities. Dr.T.Amutha / HoD / AI&DS advised them to keep their parents happy and make them proud of their daughters.
Team games and culturals were conducted for women students and staff. 400 women students and 60 staff members participated. The celebrations came to a close by 5.00 pm.
