The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, CARE College of Engineering, organized a one-day workshop on “Automation” for first-year students on 5 March 2026 at Lab–1.
The workshop was conducted from 9:45 AM to 4:45 PM, with 55 students actively participating. The session aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of automation and its importance in simplifying repetitive digital tasks.
The workshop was coordinated by CSSA student members. The session began with an overview of automation and its role in improving efficiency and productivity in various fields such as software development and data processing.
The primary focus of the workshop was on the automation tool n8n, where students were introduced to workflow creation using triggers, nodes, and integrations. Hands-on activities were conducted to help students build simple automation workflows and understand real-world applications.
The session was interactive, with students actively engaging in discussions and clarifying their doubts. The workshop provided valuable practical exposure and motivated students to explore automation technologies further.
The event was successfully conducted and received positive feedback from the participants.
