The Department of Science and Humanities organized an informative session on 6.4.2026 for the first-year B.E. and B.Tech students. Mrs. R.Sangeetha, Assistant Professor of Computer Science Department, was invited as the guest speaker.
During the session, she provided valuable insights ,and shared effective strategies to enhance coding skills. She emphasized the importance of consistent practice through online platforms such as HackerRank and HackerEarth, which are widely used for skill development and technical preparation.
Mrs. R.Sangeetha also guided students on how to create an account on HackerRank, navigate the platform, and earn certifications by completing coding challenges. She explained how these certifications and problem-solving experiences can significantly strengthen a student’s profile during interviews.
Overall, the session was highly interactive,insightful and beneficial for students aiming to build a strong foundation in coding and career readiness.
