The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, CARE College of Engineering, successfully organized the Computer Science Engineering Students’ Association (CSSA) Inauguration for the academic year 2026–2027 on 22 July 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Engineering Seminar Hall.
The function was conducted with great enthusiasm in the presence of faculty members and students of the department. The event marked the official commencement of CSSA activities for the academic year and aimed to encourage students to actively participate in technical, academic, leadership, and co-curricular initiatives.
The program was graced by Dr. Karthick Jeyaraman, HR Tech Associate GM, Shri Ram Private Chit Fund Co. Ltd., Chennai, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the importance of technical competency, communication skills, leadership qualities, teamwork, and continuous learning for building a successful professional career in the rapidly evolving technology industry.
The inaugural session included the Welcome Address, Presidential Address, Chief Guest Introduction, Inaugural Address, and Association Report Presentation. The newly elected CSSA office bearers for the academic year 2026–2027 were formally introduced during the event.
As part of the ceremony, the office bearers took the CSSA Oath, pledging to uphold the values of integrity, commitment, discipline, and service while contributing actively to the growth of the department and the student community.
The event served as an inspiring platform for students to develop leadership abilities, strengthen professional collaboration, and participate enthusiastically in various departmental activities planned for the academic year. The program concluded successfully with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the management, chief guest, faculty members, student coordinators, and participants for making the inauguration a memorable and successful occasion.
