The Department of Mechanical Engineering, CARE College of Engineering (An Autonomous Institution), organized the 
for the academic year 2026–2027 on 27 July 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Engineering Seminar Hall, in collaboration with SAEINDIA Southern Section and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). The event was graced by Mr. V. Johnson, Proprietor, Alan Industries, Pudukkottai, as the Chief Guest, along with Dr. D. R. Rajkumar, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Mr. V. Venkatesan, Assistant Professor and Staff Coordinator. The newly appointed MESA office bearers—Mr. G. B. Prakash (President), Mr. R. Hishore (Vice-President), Mr. J. Nagaraj (Secretary), Mr. K. Suriya Prakash (Joint Secretary), Mr. P. Praveenkumar (Treasurer), and Mr. R. Arun Kumar (Joint Treasurer)—formally assumed their responsibilities through the oath-taking ceremony. The programme commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Aadhil S., III Year Mechanical Engineering, who highlighted MESA’s mission of enhancing students’ technical skills and strengthening industry–academia interaction. The Chief Guest, Mr. V. Johnson, shared valuable industrial insights and emphasized practical engineering knowledge, innovation, skill development, and career preparedness. The inauguration and formal induction of the student office bearers marked an inspiring beginning for MESA 2026–2027, establishing a platform for technical excellence, innovation, leadership, professional development, and industry-oriented learning.
