CARE AICTE IDEA Lab, CARE College of Engineering, successfully organized a 12-day Professional Skilling Program for Class 10, Class 12, and ITI students from 15 June to 27 June 2026 at the AICTE IDEA Lab. The programme was designed to provide students with practical exposure to modern technologies and develop industry-oriented technical skills through hands-on learning.

The training provided participants with practical experience in Welding, 3D Printing, CNC Router, and PCB Making. Students also received hands-on training in Acrylic Laser Cutting, Vinyl Cutting, and Mechanical Fabrication, enabling them to understand the fundamentals of fabrication, prototyping, and product development. The practical sessions encouraged students to learn through experimentation and develop an understanding of the tools, equipment, and processes used in modern technical environments.

The programme emphasized creativity, technical knowledge, problem-solving, precision, and practical application of engineering concepts. By working directly with fabrication and prototyping technologies, students were encouraged to transform their ideas into physical models and prototypes. The hands-on activities also helped bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical implementation.

Outcome of the Programme

The programme successfully enhanced the participants’ practical technical skills and confidence in handling modern fabrication and prototyping equipment. Students gained firsthand experience in various manufacturing and electronics-related processes and developed a better understanding of how these technologies can be applied for prototype development and innovative problem-solving.

The training also encouraged students to explore their technical interests, think creatively, and develop an engineering-oriented approach to solving practical problems. The exposure to multiple technologies provided valuable insights into potential avenues for further technical education, skill development, and future career opportunities.

Overall, the 12-day programme served as an effective platform for experiential learning, professional skill development, and technology exposure, empowering school and ITI students with practical knowledge and skills relevant to emerging technical and industrial environments.
