The CARE NDLI Club, CARE College of Engineering, Trichy, organized an awareness programme titled “NDLI for Freshers: Discover the World of Knowledge” on 22 September 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Digital Library. Around 120 students participated in the programme.
The programme included a practical demonstration of search techniques, advanced search options, and filtering resources by author, learning type, resource content, and education level on the NDLI platform. The students were also introduced to various NDLI resource categories, including School Education, Higher Education, Career Development, Research, Patents and Standards, Law, Public Administration, Cultural Archives, Newspapers, and resources for Specially Abled Learners. And its wide range of digital resources, including e-books, e-journals, video and audio lectures , animation , text format databases, and other learning materials. The session further provided guidance on accessing and effectively utilizing.
