The Third and final build phase of the catenary workshop is underway..
The erection of the formwork was intense and required atmost precision in dimensions and coordination between the site team and the drawing team, back and forth exercises from drafting board to site and vice versa were reviewed before the process of erection of the form work was underway. The challenge was the pipe bending and the details worked out to reassemble it .
The three dimensionality of the generated surface was a challenge and various mortar mixes and course arrangements were experimented upon and tested under the able guidance of Ar. Senthil Kumar Doss, play Architecture, Bangalore.
