Guest Lecture On “Distributed Computing Through Cloud Computing”

      Guest lecture on “Distributed Computing through Cloud Computing” was arranged and successfully conducted for 3rd year CSE and AI&DS students on 09/09/2023 in the Afternoon session. Dr P. Shanmuga Sundari, Assistant Professor, SRM University, Trichy was the resource person for this Guest Lecture session.

     This Guest lecture is aimed to provide the enriched knowledge to 3rd year students on the subject CS3551-Distributed Computing which is in Anna university curriculum. Distributed File system and Middleware technologies are identified as GAP for this subject and it was filled through this guest lecture.
Resource person Dr. P. Shanmuga Sundari explored the guest lecture session on the topics of Definition of Cloud Computing, Characteristics of Cloud, Cloud Deployment Models, Cloud Service Models,  Virtualization, Load Balancing, Replication, Monitoring, Cloud Services and Platforms. She additionally covers the topic Distributed File systems and Middle ware technologies on Distributed computing to fill the curriculum gap.
