The Programme was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, CARE College of Engineering and coordinated by Mr.S.Karthik, AP/Mechanical & Dr. D R Rajkumar, HoD/MECH. The HOD and Faculty members of Mechanical Engineering of CARE College of Engineering conducted this programme. About 60 from our Colleges participated in the SAE India Collegiate Club Inauguration. The programme began with the prayer song. Mr.Sheikh Dawood, III Yr Mechanical delivered the welcome address. Dr.S.Shanthi., Principal, COE, presided over the function and encouraged the students about Mechanical Engineering. Principal CARE honored the Chief Guest with a memento. Facilitation Address given by Prof. K Kannan, Department of Mechanical Engineering. Mr. T Hariram, IV Yr Mechanical Engineering introduced the Chief Guest. Mr. S. Shanmugam, Former Chairman, SAE INDIA Southern Section & Director, Design Desk India Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. The Chief Guest inaugurated the function and gave confidence to the participants and brief about the current and future technology. Then the newly elected SAE India Collegiate Club was introduced by Mr. S. Shanmugam on his occasion. After the office bearers introduction, Special Guests Mr. S. Shanmugam gave their lecture with Self Driving cars for Mechanical Engineers to sustain in this World. Finally the Vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Nandhakumar,II Yr Mechanical Engineering. The SAE India Collegiate Club Inauguration came to an end with the Nation Anthem.
