A Voluntary blood donation camp was jointly organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS), Youth Red Cross (YRC), and Red Ribbon Club (RRC) of CARE College of Engineering on 23-11-2023 at Fulcrum. The camp was presided over by Dr. S. Shanthi, Principal of the college, and coordinated by Mr. R. Saravanan AP/EEE, NSS, YRC, and RRC Programme Officer.
The camp was inaugurated by the Principal, who appreciated the efforts of the NSS, YRC, and RRC volunteers in organizing the camp. She highlighted the importance of blood donation and urged the students to come forward to donate blood.Around 80 units of blood were donated during the camp. The volunteers, who were mainly students of the CARE, were appreciated for their dedication and sense of Community Service.The camp was a success and helped to create awareness about the importance of blood donation.
