CARE NDLI CLUB in association with Department of Science and Humanities organized a “Heritage of Tamilar” on 08/12/23 from 3.30 pm to 5 pm at Central Library
Around 64 Students participated in this event.
K.Senthil, HoD/Department of Tamil, CARE College of Arts & Science, Trichy, honored the occasion as the chief Guest and enlightened the students. He then narrated a motivational story to the students followed by interaction with the students on Reading Skills.
Five teams were created namely, Team A – குறிஞ்சி, Team B – முல்லை, Team C – மருதம், Team D- நெய்தல், & Team E – பாலை .
The students eagerly participated in the event. The event organizer asked the question with Tamil culture like, heritage of music, instrumentation, games, king of Chola, Pallava and Pandiya, festivals, silapathigaram, manimegalai, thiruvalluvar., etc., The students went through six rounds of the quiz competition. With the rules intact, they answered the questions wisely. They showed interest and enjoyed this event. Finally, the event judge Dr. K.Senthil HoD/ Dept. of Tamil , CARE College of Arts And Science, Trichy, evaluated the answers and announced the winners.
