S and H – One-day National Level Online Workshop – Research Methodology and Funding Proposals

On March 1, 2024, the Department of science and Humanities organized a One-day National Level Online Workshop on “Research Methodology and Funding Proposals.” The event aimed to provide valuable insights into research methodologies and strategies for preparing successful funding proposals. The workshop received immense support from the academic community, attracting a diverse group of participants from various colleges.

The resource persons for the workshop were distinguished scholars and experts in the field:

Dr. K. Narayanan (SASTRA University): Dr. Narayanan shared his expertise on research methodologies, guiding participants through various aspects of designing and conducting effective research.

Dr. M. Marimuthu (Saranathan College of Engineering): Dr. Marimuthu focused on the practical aspects of implementing research methodologies, drawing from his extensive experience in academia.

Dr. A. Pasumpon Pandian (Dean / R&D): As the Dean of Research and Development, Dr. Pasumpon Pandian provided valuable insights into the intricacies of crafting compelling funding proposals, sharing tips on aligning proposals with the expectations of funding agencies.

Dr. J. Jeyarani (Professor & Head-ECE, IQAC Coordinator, CARE College of Engineering): presented on the importance of choosing an article  in research and writing a journal paper.

Approximately 54 participants from various colleges actively engaged in the workshop, contributing to the vibrant discussions and interactive sessions. The online format allowed for seamless participation, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
